Fireplace Hearths

Slate is traditionally the number one choice for fireplace hearths. We stock a number of standard size slate hearths in a choice of colours and finishes. We also offer a made-to-measure service where hearths are manufactured to your specification. Our slate hearths range includes Welsh Slate, Grey Slate and Black Slate.

Quality Welsh Slate hearths

Colour is Heather Grey - a deep grey showing hints of other colours. Most commonly seen are a purple/plum/copper shades.

Contains naturally occurring green marks and veining.

Available in any thickness up to 80mm

Available in a choice of two finishes:-

Sawn- the standard finish of slate

Honed - machined to give a satin smooth finish with virtually no reflections.

Boxed hearths also available with a lipped effect. These are 20mm high.

Grey Slate

We supply only the highest quality imported slate.
Colour stocked is the dark grey / black.
Only available in 30mm thick solid slabs.
This slate has a natural split (riven) textured finish.
Very hard wearing slate at low cost.
Available in standard sizes and also made-to-measure.
